I don't want to get into the habit of just cutting and pasting other peoples ideas without qualification.....oh what the heck!

Hitchens Elementary rules of Logic (Slate Magazine)

1. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence 

2. What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.


Pretty much sums it up for me!
